Antique Edwardian Victorian or Colonial ?? Sterling & Leather Shoe Clips Buckles.  Pilgrim Style Civil War Era? Black Leather middles with minor rippling on one. So minor. See pic.  Hand hammered. Gorgeous Patina.  No clips attached but judging from the backs these are easily from the 1800s!  Repeat, no clips attached. They have been tested for sterling by a jeweler.  They could be marked underneath the leather but I do not want to disturb it. Each is 2 inches by 2 inches.  They belong in a museum and I believe they are even earlier than I have them at. This come around like this very rarely.   Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
