    Autographed postcard photograph of the Czech, later American harp virtuoso, May, 1917
    Lev (Leo) Zalenka-Lerando (1877-1954) Went to England first, where he was appointed the harpist to the Duke of Devonshire.  He came to America to play with cornetist Bohumir Kryl's band in 1911.  (Kryl was billed as the world's greatest cornetist)  Zalenka-Lerando was billed as the "wizard of the harp" and when not touring with the band placed concerts and recitals throughout the country, in small towns and large. Interestingly he became a Professor of Spanish at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.
