    MORIZ ROSENTHAL 1862-1946
    Pianist, Composer, Teacher
    Pupil of Franz Liszt famous for his wit.
    His repertoire was based around Chopin, Schumann and Liszt.
    This is a 5 1/4" X 6", handwritten, signed note from Mr. Rosenthal to Mrs. Newer,
    in black ink on New York's Hotel Majestic stationary.  The note reads as follows:
    Dear Mrs Newer,
    Many thanks for the most interesting article. Yours, very faithfully,
    Moriz Rosenthal
    From the estate of an avid virtuoso collector who purchased this
    note from David Schulson Autographs, July 1986.
