This tape will show you how to create a polymer clay cane in a classic quilt pattern while learning Judith Skinner’s precision caning techniques.
Skinner, the inventor of the famous “Skinner Blend” way of seamlessly gradating polymer clay color, uses it here for color selection.
With simple measurements, you’ll create a standard log cabin quilt pattern cane, and then cut and recombine the canes in classic quilt patterns. After that, ideas will be explored for using quilt cane slices to create jewelry.
Included with the tape is a Judith Skinner Precision Cane Assembly Template. Released in 2001. One hour, 28 minutes.
