Hughes, who died in 2018, was a master of what she called “imitative techniques,” using polymer clay to duplicate lighter, less expensive versions of semi-precious stones.
This tape includes all the information you’ll need to create beautiful jewelry and objects that imitate amber and coral. You’ll learn how to make two variations of amber beads and five variations of coral. These pieces will be combined into a necklace or may be adapted for use in other finished work. Enclosed is a list of materials and tools, which will be reviewed on the tape. Released in 1994. Running time 65 minutes.
