    Description

    Giulietta Simionato
    Italian mezzo-soprano (1910-2010) celebrated for her mastery of many different styles of Italian and French opera including bel canto, verismo and the great Verdi works.  Nice black and white photograph signed and inscribed by her, shown as Amneris in Verdi's Aida during the curtain call at Teatro La Scala, during the season 1956-1957.  Size is 7.1 x 9.4 inches, mounting tape traces on vreso, minor damage over the lower-right cornes, otherwise in very good condition.
