    Description

    Vintage Carlsbad BFHS nut/candy dish in a crescent shape is 6.5" long and 3.5" wide.  It is adorned with red and yellow rose buds.  The BFHS stands for Benjamin F. Hunt and Sons located in Boston, Mass.  Many store owners made arrangements with foreign manufacturers to produce products specifically for them.  Hunt had these items produced in Elbogan between 1897 and 1907.  There is a small ding on the front of the dish I took a picture of it as best as I could.  It is very tiny.  Some of the gold around the edges has rubbed off.  Over all it is a fine sample of Austrian china.  Please ask any questions you may have.  Thank you for stopping.
